These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Penguin Capital website and to the calls and text messages described below. “Penguin Capital,” “we” and “us” mean Penguin Capital LLC, a company based in Whiting, Indiana. By using the site or submitting a form, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Who we are, and important disclosures
Penguin Capital LLC buys houses directly from homeowners in Lake County, Indiana. We are a real estate buyer, not a real estate brokerage. We make offers as a principal, for our own account. We don’t list homes for sale, and we don’t represent sellers or act as anyone’s agent. If you want someone to represent your interests, consider hiring a licensed real estate agent or an Indiana attorney.
This solicitation is not from a licensed real estate professional. The expected purchaser is Penguin Capital LLC. If a different buyer is expected, or if your purchase agreement allows the buyer’s rights to be transferred to someone else, the written agreement will say so in plain language, and we’ll point it out to you before you sign.
Nothing on this site is an offer to buy
Nothing on this website is an offer to buy your property or a promise to buy it at any price. That includes our pages, examples, estimates, form responses, and any number mentioned in a call, text or email. A purchase happens only under a written purchase agreement signed by both you and the buyer. That agreement controls the price, closing costs, closing date and every other term. If something matters to you, make sure it’s written into the agreement before you sign.

That includes replies to your questions, scheduling a walkthrough, your offer, paperwork and closing updates. Calls and texts may use automated technology or prerecorded messages. We don’t use this program for unrelated promotions.
Message frequency varies with your inquiry. Msg & data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts. You may receive one message confirming your opt-out. You can also opt out of calls or texts in any other reasonable way, such as telling us on a call or in a text. We’ll honor it promptly. If you later want texts again, you can reply START or ask us.
Help. Reply HELP for help, or call us.
Consent is not a condition of any purchase or sale. If you don’t want calls or texts, call us instead of using the form, and you can reply STOP at any time.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile information. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile number or text-message consent information to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
Changing numbers. If you change or give up the mobile number you used, please tell us or reply STOP from that number so we don’t contact its next owner.
